Raìna - Campo di Raìna
Taste the Story
A classic Sagrantino with a bold character, offering intense aromas of herbs, balsamic notes, blackberries, tobacco, and chocolate. On the palate, it is harmonious and well-balanced, with structured tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Hand-harvested in mid-October and fermented spontaneously without temperature control, it is aged 15 days on the skins, then 24 months in large oak barrels, followed by 12 months in stainless steel and a minimum of 12 months in bottle.
From a southeast-facing vineyard at 280 meters, with sandy, sandstone, gravelly soils and 5,700 vines per hectare, this wine pairs beautifully with pasta with savory sauces and game dishes.
