This is the new Giano, the one refermented in the bottle.

Giano was the estate’s very first Lambrusco, a wine born from both fatigue and satisfaction, and still one of its proudest achievements. Made entirely from Lambrusco Salamino grapes, it presents a brilliant ruby red colour with purple reflections.

On the nose, Giano offers intense and refined aromas of ripe red fruits, with black cherry standing out, alongside delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it shows an unexpected structure for a Lambrusco, perfectly balanced by its natural freshness. Dry, persistent, and harmonious, it remains invitingly easy to drink while delivering real depth and satisfaction.

The name Giano recalls the two-faced Roman god Janus, one of antiquity’s oldest deities. Guardian of doors, gates, and passages, Janus was seen as a protector of beginnings, transitions, and new ventures. The wine bears his name as a tribute to new paths and fresh starts.
