Abrigo Giovanni - Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba Superiore Garabei

Taste the Story

In the glass, Garabei presents a deep ruby red color with the characteristic violet highlights of a Dolcetto. The bouquet is layered and expressive, ranging from floral notes of red rose and violet to ripe small fruits such as blackberry and wild black cherry. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet refined, with tightly woven and enveloping tannins. Its vibrant acidity preserves freshness and balance, while carrying the smooth, persistent finish.

As the wine matures, the violet highlights gradually fade, giving way to more complex aromas of brushwood and earthy undertones. Garabei evolves beautifully within five years of harvest, with the best vintages capable of ageing gracefully for over a decade.

Garabei represents the finest expression of Dolcetto crafted by the Abrigo family. Complex and elegant, it has become a true reference point among wines made exclusively with 100% Dolcetto, showcasing both varietal purity and remarkable ageing potential.
