Tuzzi - Bianco Friulano

Taste the Story

In the glass, the wine shows a bright, pale straw color with a fresh, luminous appearance. The nose is complex and intense, revealing refined aromas of almond, white peach, apple, and lime. These fruity notes are elegantly complemented by floral hints of hawthorn, acacia, and magnolia, with subtle touches of mint and marjoram adding lift and aromatic tension. A wine hinting to a style resembling the Frensh Jura wines.

On the palate, the wine displays fine tension and precision. Fruit and herbal notes intertwine with the variety’s characteristic almond nuances. It is a wine of strong personality, supported by freshness and structure, combining depth with an attractive, moreish drinkability that invites another sip.

The grapes come from a unique blend of old, traditional clones with an average age of 60 years, grown on the slopes of the historic Rosazzo site. Harvested by hand, they are gently pressed with the stems, followed by natural settling of the must. Fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel and partly in oak, after which the wine remains on the fine lees until shortly before bottling. A wine that beautifully expresses terroir, tradition, and elegance.
