Donkey Kong is Giostra’s very first white wine experiment, crafted entirely from Trebbiano grapes. After hand-destemming, the grapes rested 2 days on the skins before being pressed. Fermentation began in steel and the wine was then transferred to barrique at the end of September, where it aged for 14 months.

Donkey Kong reveals the elegant influence of barrique with distinct vanilla notes, layered over a firm structure and lively acidity. Smooth yet powerful, it surprises with hints of cigar that add depth and intrigue.
